The following email went out to all Cotswold 113 2020 Competitors tonight:
Cotswold 113 2020 – Interim update
Good evening all, I hope everyone’s well ?
We’re a little over 6 weeks away from this year’s Cotswold 113, so I wanted to drop a very quick email out to everyone to let you all know that we’re in full swing of planning for the race to go ahead on Sept 20th.
Later next week, we’ll send out a full update on what’s being planned for the day, but today’s mail is to let you all know that you still have a few more days if you want to either Swap to the Virtual race, change names or anything else with your entry this year
On next Friday (14th August), we have to fix the start list with printers, insurers etc, so you have until the 14th please if you want to make any changes, as after that I’m afraid it’s then fixed and frozen.
Last Sunday, we were proud to host the first Triathlon approved by the UK Government and the BTF in this stage of the Lockdown being relaxed, and although it was a slightly adjusted format, competitors still got to race over a Middle Distance course of 1.9km Swim, 56Mile bike and a half marathon. Since last Sunday, we’ve sat with various stakeholders, our team itself and various other Authorities about what we can expect to be able to change in time for Sept, and next week’s email will explain all this in full.
If you’re interested in hearing what our competitors thought about the race last weekend, you can read the reviews here :

Anyway, I’ll keep this brief before next week’s marathon email, so if you still want to Swap to the Virtual option, change names or anything else with your entry, please can we have them in before next Friday
Cheers
