All our races are based from Lake 32 in the Cotswold Waterpark, which is Waterland Pursuits, Spratsgate lane, Ashton Keynes, Gloucestershire GL76DF.
For accommodation, then the closest, and by far the best hotel is the Devere Cotswolds Hotel, which is approx 2miles from the race start;

If this is no good, then Cirencester is approx 10 miles and Swindon approx 10 miles the other way, where there are a number of hotels and B&B's
The postcode for the race location is GL76DF
All our courses are very flat, with the exception of a few rolling hills on the 226 bike course.
We are governed and work in accordance with the water safety regulations set out by the British Triathlon Federation. To date, all our races have fallen within the ‘Wetsuit Optional’ temperature range, and we expect that to continue. Even with the water generally in the optional range, 99.9% of competitors choose to wear a triathlon wetsuit.
Unfortunately not. We need all competitors to be able to hear what’s going on around them, and the able to hear instruction from police and marshals on the course.
We are lucky that the roads we use are typically very quiet, so we don’t need to close them all. We do have the police closing off sections and manning crossroads so that competitors will get right of way, and not have traffic interruptions in their race.
Yes please, we always need more marshals and we have a variety of jobs available on the day. We pay all our over 16 marshals in either cash on the day, or a discount voucher for future 113 events. We welcome families along too, and have marshals shirts right down to 4-6yr old sizes. If parents have kids with them that don’t want to feel left out, we can arrange for them to have a role no where near to a road on the run course.
Yes, assuming there are places available in the race I wish to transfer to.
Around 5-6 weeks out from each race, when the entries are finalized and fixed, we send an email out to all competitors asking them if they wish to choose a wave and/or race number. We can accommodate 99.9% of wave requests, and numbers are on a first come first served basis following this email. If you just want a group of sequential numbers for you and your friends, so that you’re racked together, we can generally accommodate this too.
