Just a quick heads-up that entries for our 2027 races open at midnight tonight, and we’d absolutely love to see you on our start lines next year.
As in previous years, the two races each feature their own unique bike course, while sharing the same friendly, welcoming atmosphere that we’re proud to be known for. Our amazing team of volunteers and staff work hard to make every athlete feel at home, whether it’s your first middle-distance event or your fiftieth.
For 2027, we’ve made the decision to reduce the maximum number of solo entries from 1,000 to 900. This allows us to maintain the personal touch that makes our events special and ensure everyone enjoys the perfect day of swimming, cycling and running in the beautiful Cotswolds.
We’ve also partnered with a new online entry system, giving you an even smoother booking experience. As part of this, we’re now able to offer improved injury, and illness protection, along with flexible payment plan options over the next 6–8 months.
We do, of course, still retain our industry leading no quibble pregnancy and standard free deferral options.
The two dates for 2027 are :
Sunday 6th June – Cotswold 113 Middle Distance TriathlonNow in its 16th year, the Cotswold 113 is renowned for its fast, almost pancake-flat course. It’s ideal for experienced athletes chasing a PB, while also providing a supportive and relaxed environment for anyone taking on their first middle-distance triathlon.
For 2027, we’ve introduced a new bike course that flows even better and benefits from an improved road surface, while remaining just as flat and fast.

Sunday 11th July – Cotswold Classic V2 Middle Distance Triathlon
The July event uses the same swim and run courses but features a completely different bike course.
We’d describe the Classic course as gently rolling compared with the pancake-flat June route. While it has a few more undulations, it’s still a very fast course and typically produces bike split times similar to the June race. Those gentle climbs simply give you the chance to get out of the saddle, stretch the legs, and enjoy a little more variety along the way.

Both races offer two Early Bird pricing tiers:
The first 150 entries receive our lowest price.
The next 150 entries receive a second discounted price before standard entry fees apply.
Based on previous years, these places don’t tend to last long!
Entries for both races will be available from midnight tonight at www.113events.com.
We hope to see lots of familiar faces—and plenty of new ones—on the start line in 2027.
